Requirements
  • Only female candidates are given admission for course.
  • Admission will be through entrance exam prescribed by Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test CELL.
  • (Check Maharashtra State CET Cell website-www.mahacet.org)
  • The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
  • The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of Higher secondary school certificate
  • Examination (12 years course), Or Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2), pre-degree Examination (10+2) Or An equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board or University with science minimum 45% in PCB for open category & 40% in PCB for reserved category &to be passed in English separately.
  • Candidate must be physically and mentally fit for admission.
  • As per the Maharashtra University of Health Science and institution policy, the candidate will have to undergo medical fitness before admission
  • Confirmation of admission is subject to issue of eligibility to the course from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.
  • Implementation of changes with regard to admission process / selection criteria etc. will be incorporated as per Indian nursing council, Maharashtra Nursing council, Maharashtra university notifications issued from time to time.
SELECTION CRITERIA
  • Only female candidates are eligible.

  • Fill and submit the application form
  • Pay application fees and take print out of the payment receipt
  • Log in again to verify the application process
  • Download the completed and verified application form
  • Take a print out of the same for future admission process.
  • Upload necessary documents on the website.
  • Fill the preference form online. TGINE College Code is 9146.
  • A provisional merit list of eligible candidates is based on their performance in entrance exams of CET Cell along with preference selected by candidate & CAP rounds which will be released by state CET.
  • Counseling sessions will commence & selection process will be completed in two or more rounds.
  • Seats will be allotted based on preference filled by candidate.
  • Candidates may either accept the college allotted or wait for second round of seat allotment.
  • If satisfied submit a status retention form which once submitted cannot be withdrawn back.
  • Seat once allotted and status retention form once submitted candidates will not be allowed to change their choices.
  • Final merit list will be released by the respective authorities on the official website.
  • All candidates selected must pay the course fees in the form of Demand draft from any national bank in favor of Principal payable at respective college.
Admission granted is provisional subject to:
  • The payment of all the fees payable to the institution.
  • Submission of eligibility certificate from DMER, ARA & Maharashtra University of Health sciences.
  • Submission of all certificates in original as per requirement.

* Indian Nursing Council has amended the syllabus for graduate nursing in which the OSCE is mandatory to assess the skills of nursing students.

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION:

The distribution of marks in internal assessment, End Semester College Exam and End Semester University Exam for each course is as shown below:

ELIGIBILITY FOR UNIVERSITY EXAMINATION
  • A candidate must have minimum 80% attendance in theory and practical in each subject for appearing in university exams.
  • A candidate must have 100% attendance in each of practical areas before award of degree.

ACADEMIC PROGRESS
  • All students are expected to maintain a high academic and clinical standard of performance throughout the programme. Regular written and practical exams will be conducted at regular intervals.
  • Internal assessment in each subject will be carried out at regular times as prescribed by the university. Passing in the internal assessment is a pre- requisite to appear for the university examination.
  • The student will appear for theory and practical examination of Maharashtra University Health Sciences at the end of every academic year as prescribed.
  • A candidate has to pass in theory and practical exam separately in each of the paper.
  • Minimum passing marks is 50% in each of theory and practical papers separately.
  • Candidate must pass in internal and external examinations in each of the papers separately.
  • If a candidate fails in either practical or theory paper, she will have to reappear for both theory and practical.

FEE STRUCTURE
  • Fees are payable as per the approved rates prescribed by (FEE REGULATING AUTHORITY - MUMBAI) norms and management policy.
  • Eligibility and examination fees will be charged as per MUHS, Nashik norms. FEES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

STANDARDS OF PASSING
  • Minimum pass marks are 50% in each of the Theory and Practical.
  • Twenty-five percentage of the marks of Theory and 50% of the marks of
  • Practical are reserved for the year’s work (internal assessment).
  • If a candidate fails in either practical or theory paper, she will have to reappear for both theory and practical.
