ADMISSION REQUIREMENT

  • Only female candidates are given admission for course.
  • The minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31 December of the year of admission.
  • The minimum educational requirement is the passing of Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12 years Course)
  • OR

  • 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.
  • Candidate must be physically and mentally fit for admission.
  • As per the Maharashtra University of Health Science and institution policy the candidate will have to undergo medical fitness before admission.
  • Confirmation of admission is subject to issue of eligibility to the course from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.

ELIGIBILITY FOR APPEARING FOR UNIVERSITY EXAMINATION

  • For BSc. Nursing - A candidate should have passed in the subjects of PCB and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks taken together in PCB at the qualified examination i.e (10+2). Furthermore, the candidates belonging to constitution reservation, the marks obtained in PCB taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 45% as stated above. English is a compulsory subject in 10 + 2 for being eligible for admission to B.Sc (N) OR as prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council from time to time.

STANDARD OF PASSING

  • Minimum pass marks is 50% in each of the Theory and Practical.
  • Twenty-five percentage of the marks of Theory and 50% of the marks of Practical are reserved for the Year's work (internal assessment).
  • If a candidate fails in either practical or theory paper, she will have to reappear for both theory and practical.
